Stacey Bailey (Falcons 1982-90) Born and raised in northern California. At San Jose State University, Stacey started at wide receiver his freshmen year. He played for head coach Jack Elway (father of former Denver Bronco QB, John Elway). His offensive coordinator was Dennis Erickson, now head coach for Arizona State University. After playing 9 years with the Atlanta Falcon, he is still ranked among the Falcons leading receivers in many categories. His best season came in 1984, when he had 67 receptions for over 1000 yards.
Floyd Hodge (Falcons 1 981-85) Was born and raised in Los Angeles California. He attended Centennial High School where he was a 3 year starting quarterback and a two-time 1st team All Conference player. Floyd played is college football at the University of Utah. He played quarterback through his junior year before being switched to wide receiver. With only one season to exploit his talents at the wide receiver position, he went on to sign a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
